Sugar Maple Hibiscus Leaves

Our friend Ruby gifted us with these lovely leaves, and I made a quick arrangement the night before our local craft show. It sold!

The flower in the middle is our favorite orange cosmos.

Hometown Craft Bazaar 2010

We always enjoy our home town craft bazaar, and this little community continues to support my work very generously.

It was a great day, and I was happy with the sale.

Many minis

I was sorting and organizing the miniature frames I've completed.

These little frames are good sellers.

Many people use them for gifts.

Thanks to some friends and family I had quite a few purse frames.

A close up look for you...

Pansy Pictures

I was happy with the sales made at the craft show last weekend.

Now, I'm busy replenishing the inventory.

Pansies are always popular.

We enjoyed this sight last weekend.

We were on the way home from the craft show.

We pulled over and I just kept taking pictures!

Spring to Fall on the Priairie

I try to do a few of these collages every year.

Crocuses are the first to bloom in the spring and roses come in the summer.
(The Golden Alexander I used for accent with the roses are also summer plants.) Sunflowers are some of the last wildflowers of the season.

Here are a couple of close ups

Novelty Mini Frames

These little frames are fun to put together.

Here's the layered viola look again.

This one isn't glued yet, haven't decided if I like the purple pansy here.

A Great Helper!

My sister visited and helped get ready for the upcoming craft fairs.

She shined up the glass in the frames....

and tagged the frames, too.

Thanks, Lois!

New Projects

This black collage frame has some new photos.

The style of these oval frames is a little different.

I have to admit I enjoyed piling the pansies in these frames!

Fall Craft Fairs are Coming!

I've started to make inventory for the fall craft fairs.

Fun to find frames I've stashed away over the last months. This is brown metal. I really like it but i do wonder what kind of design will develop within?

The work table, some finshed minis, some works in progress.

I've started with some of the standard good sellers.

I asked my sisters for a catchy title for this post about getting back in production, and had a lot of options! One good one was "Gluing and Grinning." (Although sometimes at this stage it's more like gluing and grimacing. It seems to take a while to get back in the rhythm after the summer!)
