Spring Fling!

It's been a while since I've done a spring craft show,
but we are trying a new show in our little town.
It will be held this Saturday, May 3.

Here's a quick preview:

A few new mini purse frames.

Here's a new size for my custom made barnwood frames.
The interior dimension is approximately 3" x 8"

I took these pictures before I had the designs glued in place, but you can get the idea....

This is something new for a long narrow frame.  I'm enjoying the variety of flowers

Pressed Flowers in Interesting Frames

I've had these frames for several years. The oval frame swivels.

The tiny drawer does indeed pull out.

Pansies and still more pansies....

Orange cosmos with maple leaf hibiscus leaves

I like to have some framed crocus on my craft fair table.

Photo Collages

I've spent a few days making a variety of photo collages.

The bottom photo of crocuses is from the spring of 2011.

The picture of our father's truck was taken by sister Anita.

Spring to Fall on the Priairie

I try to do a few of these collages every year.

Crocuses are the first to bloom in the spring and roses come in the summer.
(The Golden Alexander I used for accent with the roses are also summer plants.) Sunflowers are some of the last wildflowers of the season.

Here are a couple of close ups

I have a deadline approaching, time to start creating!

The above frames have a 4 x 6 inside opening.

These frames have a 2 x 3 opening.

Latest version of an old standard....

I call this design my "botanical" and I've been doing variations on
this theme for several years. It always turns out a little different,
depending on the character of the prairie smoke, etc, I use. I was
pleased with this one.

new stamp

What fun to get a new rubber stamp in the mail!
I've had fun trying it in several ways.
Here are a few notecards:

Many thanks for the stamp, Sue.
It will be used.
