Today's Projects

These collage frames are rather small, just 9.5" x 5" outside measurement.

It was fun to do a variety of arrangements today.

The picture of the windmill is black and white.

Mini Collage

The openings in this little frame are just 2" x 3" so I trimmed a windmill picture to fit, and used my favorite Prairie Smoke in the other side. I'm pleased with how it turned out. I might need to find more of these frames!

Pressed Flowers and Postage Stamps

I've been experimenting with incorporating postage stamps in my flower designs.

Most of these stamps have flowers on them.

Australia has some great stamps!

I have more ideas, and hope to get some new designs worked up.

Blue-eyed Grass

Here's another evidence of our abundant moisture.

It's unusual to see this blue-eyed grass in large clumps.

Our rain total since May 1st is over 10 inches....

There are new flowers blooming in the pasture.

Wild violets

The bluebells are just getting started.

I pressed a small batch of these pretty blue flowers yesterday.

More Crocus Pictures

Could it be Spring?!

This afternoon I remembered to take my camera on my walk.

The crocuses are blooming profusely, and buttercups are starting.

The sloughs and potholes have lots of water this spring.

The rhubarb is finally free of the snowbanks, and we are glad to see it.

Bragging a bit

This picture was taken on a very hot California evening in the summer of 2009.

This is my niece Maria, and her husband, Darren. Darren is an artist, and one of his paintings was chosen as the cover for the March edition of the Eddie Bauer catalog.

Sugar Maple Hibiscus Leaves

Our friend Ruby gifted us with these lovely leaves, and I made a quick arrangement the night before our local craft show. It sold!

The flower in the middle is our favorite orange cosmos.

Hometown Craft Bazaar 2010

We always enjoy our home town craft bazaar, and this little community continues to support my work very generously.

It was a great day, and I was happy with the sale.

Many minis

I was sorting and organizing the miniature frames I've completed.

These little frames are good sellers.

Many people use them for gifts.

Thanks to some friends and family I had quite a few purse frames.
