First Craft Show of the Season

I've been trying to get in to this craft show for a few years.

Several of the other vendors said: "We just like coming here, it's a great little community."  After our first experience here, we agree.

Some friends came by and took our picture.

A look at the table....

It was our first time to have pegboard available behind the table.

All in all, it was a good experience, and a good sale.   We hope to do it again next year.

Packing for First Craft Show of the Season

Here's the back part of the trunk of the car.  This is just the beginning!  I am enjoying the vintage suitcases, both for transporting my things, and also for display at the show.   And on top of those suitcases is the lastest auction sale purchase.   It's a metal child size ironing board.  I'm using it in my display.
Starting to pack in the back seat here...boxes, wood crates, shelves, table, etc!
It's pretty amazing how much we can get in a Honda Civic!

Brainstorming Craft Show Display

Notice!!   I removed the extra step in the comment form, so it should be more user friendly.  Let me know if it works okay for you.   Unless I get some spam, I will leave it open.

I'm trying to incorporate a few of my vintage treasures in to my display.

These pricing tags and little metal stands are from the last auction I attended.

A cloth suitcase that folds up flat!   It came from flea market.

Trying to figure out how to use the crates and boxes.
Ignore the flowered bed sheet...it's just marking out the size of the table!

Collages in Process

The always popular orange cosmos.

This is not complete...still working with it.

Today's Cosmos in Progress

I've been working with orange cosmos today.

These flowers are just placed in the frames, they aren't glued yet.

A fun frame with orange in it.

This little collage matches this one.

Pansies in Progress

The birds and branches in this frame seem to complement my flowers.

These metal frames have a 4 x 6 opening.

This is what I'm working on this afternoon.   They're not glued yet, just in the creating stage.

Sunflower Collage

This little collage frame worked great for these sunflowers.

Close ups!   They're roadside wild flowers.

This collage measures approximately 15 x 7.  openings are 4 x 4.

Pansy and Lobelia

These designs aren't glued in place yet.

They are at the stage where I let them sit a bit and see if they look alright.

Porcelain frames Revisited

I reworked these porcelain frames, and they are all done and packed away.

I've had some good luck pressing sunflowers recently.

Porcelain Frames

And here are more new frames...these are "Portmeiron" brand, like the Botanic Garden dishes.

I have 3 sets of these little frames, so I did some experimenting.

None of the flowers are glued in place yet.

Here are some close up pictures of the frames.

What flower do you like best in the frames, orange cosmos, pansy or rose?

Feel free to leave a comment with your favorite!   Thanks!

Filling new Frames with Flowers

These little frames were on sale...lots of "bling" as they say!

Round frames are fun to put together.  I'm enjoying the orange pansies.

Sunflower frames!

This is a Black eyed Susan in this frame.
