- I love the prairie! The majority of the flowers I pick and press come from pasture land on the farm where I was raised and now live. I include a few locally grown garden flowers, too. (We won't ignore the pansies!) The silhouette against a prairie sunset was taken by my sister when I was a child.

I love these new framed flowers! How beautiful!
I still have my front flower pots full of pansies and violas. My idea was to replace them when it gets warmer with other flowers but they are blooming so abundantly right now! I think I'll wait a bit longer...
So fun to see you and Marilyn last week! Now I can picture a bit better were you are on the open prairie..
