- I love the prairie! The majority of the flowers I pick and press come from pasture land on the farm where I was raised and now live. I include a few locally grown garden flowers, too. (We won't ignore the pansies!) The silhouette against a prairie sunset was taken by my sister when I was a child.

I REALLY like the ones with the orange and blue flower for the "O" instead of the same Lobelias that you use for the rest of the word. And, yes, I can read the word. :) But there's just something different enough about it with the full flower for the "O" that makes the entire thing prettier. You do such wonderful work with these flowers! One day I'll have to come to one of your shows to buy one! :)

Hi Amy! I've read your post at work but couldn't comment there -- so have been waiting to get home & cast my vote! *smile* These are SO cool! Yes, you can read it. I like the flower in place of the "o" -- and LOVE the orange cosmos! There might be other colors that would look nice too - but I like the contrasting colors a bit more than all blue. Those orange cosmos - they are hard to beat! *smile* Hugs from WY!
