Hi Amy, I have tried taking pictures of flowers in the wild but they never turn out like yours. Yours have the color... mine seem to just be faded or at a wrong angle or something. anyhow, Makes me enjoy yours the more.

I love the prairie! The majority of the flowers I pick and press come from pasture land on the farm where I was raised and now live. I include a few locally grown garden flowers, too. (We won't ignore the pansies!)
The silhouette against a prairie sunset was taken by my sister when I was a child.
