- I love the prairie! The majority of the flowers I pick and press come from pasture land on the farm where I was raised and now live. I include a few locally grown garden flowers, too. (We won't ignore the pansies!) The silhouette against a prairie sunset was taken by my sister when I was a child.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog, Amy. I loved looking at all your beautiful creations! I can see why the "...it takes heart to love the Prairie" is such a great seller. It echoes my feelings. Wonder how close you get to us with your craft shows??
